INTENSIVE THERAPY PROGRAM

  • Our intensive therapy programs are designed to meet your child’s unique needs and help them achieve their specific goals.
  • Intensive therapy for children: the secret to rapid progress
Powerful therapy, committed patients, incredible outcomes

Intensive therapy is becoming increasingly popular for children, supported by numerous studies. This approach to rehabilitation is now proving to be highly effective, especially for pediatric patients. Children who take part in intensive therapy experience significant improvements in strength, balance, independence, mobility, and overall motor function much faster than those following traditional treatment methods. Often times making more progress than they would in a year with traditional therapy.

So, what exactly is intensive therapy?

Simply put, intensive therapy involves receiving therapy of any kind at a high frequency within a short time frame. In contrast to the usual treatment approach, where a child might have one hour of therapy per week, every two weeks, or monthly, intensive therapy involves two to six hours per day of therapy, five days a week, for three weeks. This means that children are exposed to hundreds, or even thousands, of repetitions of specific exercises, developmental movements, and functional skills in a very concentrated period of time.

WHAT TO EXPECT
